Hi everyone, I tried searching and did some research on manufacturers' websites but I couldn't come to a definitive conclusion.
Is there a replacement head unit for older bikes (2009 FLHX) that will have Bluetooth connectivity with an iPhone and allow the rider to have control (skip songs, go through playlists, etc.) of the iPhone using the handlebars controls?
The most likely contender appeared to be the Jensen HD1BT but the manufacturer told me that it was not possible to control the phone with the handlebars controls.
Just installed alpine hd 149bt, great HU.You will need a controller with it,I run Biketronics unit ,have a 2008flhx.I plug my IPhone in through the usb app and play list work fine,so does Bluetooth.Could not be happier with it.
Jumping in on the Alpine train I have a 153BT and it works fine.... Although I only stream Pandora thru Bluetooth so the only things I do are turn up/down volume and skip songs.
Have the Biketronics controller with it.
