Will a DSP be a benefit to my system question and answer thread
What I would like to see here is for anyone who has interest or thoughts of adding any type of signal processor to their system, to post EXACTLY what you have or PLAN TO have for a system. Then we can advise and direct if their is any benefit to you having this in your system. This is not to insult, belittle, or do anything other than 2 things. Get you set up properly and or save you money, time , and many headaches. So please feel free to toss in your setups if you feel so and a simple yes or no, or minor discussion and lets make sure we all have the best we can have within both budget and abilities.
The largest and closest alligator to the boat is will a DSP work with a BT4180 amp? Many folks will subscribe to this question.

You forgot the tweets LOL.
Yes it will most definitely work with a 4180. That is what Chris is using BUT for a basic 4 speaker setup off a 4180 I do not see the potential vs using a line leveler. And your setup especially will shine with one.

Would like to go back to my 6.5 Glade did not sell it thought someday Harley would fix problem
Also what do you think it would do for current setup Who would be willing to help set this thing up even if it cost me ?
6.5 boom HU
Front fairing: D4 amp bridged to AW28 horns and AW6.5 mids (hard to hear over Bassani exhaust)
Lid speakers: NVX MVPA4 bridged to DX6x9
Tour pak: SS ST4.1000D bridged to DX6.5
I'm sure a DSP will improve this system. The question is how greatly?
I hope this will go over well and will try to stay as involved as possible but will need a little help at times as well, as I feel this may grow quickly. Maybe not. IDK? Flying Broke, you need a 3rd amp bro to run those 880 in the mix here. Breakdown of what you gave leaves no juice left for the 880

Biased on this one, but my gut says no dsp. 3 amps it will help, but you really can do fine without it.
I'm with Slye here not everyone needs one....and I sell them!
I will say this, it would be great if one of the guys who is running a DSP or will shortly be running a DSP to post a review or comparison on how his bike sounds with an LL vs. a DSP. I really think the stock rushmore HU sounds significantly different with the LL. Folks ripping it out for no reason? Last years Myrtle winning bike ran a rushmore HU and this years best sounding and most bad **** bike in Daytona has a rushmore HU ---- both were running DSP's. So does the average 2 - 4 speaker system need one...probably not, after all the two bikes I'm talking about are over the top competition builds. The issue that will always be present is the tuning they require. Tossing money around doesn't fix much if it's not set up correctly.
