Not happening tonight. Damnit.
I'm gonna have to rework the pods a lot to get these in. Just the opening is too small and there's only 2 screws that have holes lined up. Some cutting and modifying is in order.
Have a club run bright and early tomorrow so the AWs went back in.

Take the AWs out when u get a chance and drill holes in the Beymas to match that hole pattern.
I don't get it with the Spaniards and Brazilians but they have some pretty damn random hole patterns but market the hell out of their shix where industry standard pattern and been established for centuries!!!

You think their logic is weird for end use products, you should visit each country.....but when your there (beautiful sunny warm days, beach, scantily (if at all) clad women and all the booze you could never consume in a lifetime then "industry standard" doesn't seem important.......

The hole pattern is larger than what's on the pods. So I'll also need longer screws once I enlarge the opening for these to drop in. Plus I have to rewire everything since the AT28s won't be run in parallel. Not a quick and simple job to do before a run. LOL
SgtMic, don't change your pod pattern. Change the hole pattern in the speaker frame. It drills REALLY easily, there's two holes (bottom two, that you need to just stretch out...or even better, trace out the AW on a piece of paper, put dots where the holes are, cut out the paper and lay it on top of the PRV and mark where you need to drill. Modify the speaker frame, not the pods.

But be very careful if the surround your drilling through is metal not to let the metal shavings get in your voice coil.
