Added a new Indian chieftain elite to my collection this week. Now comes the audio....
And before some comedian steps in and says "it's not a Harley", I own 16 Harley's and many many more that are metrics.
So now comes the fun of figuring out the audio for an Indian. I will say I love their headunit way more than the Harley. Gps is far superior and the sheer size of the touch screen (supposed to be usable with gloves) is nice.
Lol, do you know how nerve racking it's going to be tearing into this thing. The paint is freaking immaculate.
Somehow it Didn't bother me ripping the brand new engine out of my 17 CVO to cram in the 126 outlaw engine in it.
Going to be interesting to say the least
Was looking at the push button panels (bottom right-left of screen) already have a guy that can fab me new inserts. Also the possibility of lower portion of the fairing. If you will look at the fairing speakers you will see the tweeters are surface mounted left/right corner. Removing the oem speakers/pods and re fabricating the grill area will give plenty of room there too. Huge *** waste of space there.
Or I may go standard tweets.
The start button and fog light button can get moved to a new tank panel they already make that accommodates more buttons.
Very nice I was at Sloans this past Tuesday and I could have sworn I saw that bike on the floor.. The paint and All caught my eye ..
Lol, I saw that there too. That's where the pic come from before I bought it.
Next time your in and looking go to the Indian dealership downtown on 8th ave, off Lafayette street, across from americas motor sports. Nothing but shiny new beauties in there.
Btw; we ride out your way at least 2 times a month. Beautiful area.
Sweet! With that many scooters I can't imagine how you get time to enjoy them all. Good problem to have I suppose. I'll be looking forward to learning how this one stacks up against the others.
