Okay. Did the HU reset. Still does not sound like it once did but is consistent. Thinking the flash back to 0 amps 2 speakers. Any reason not to at this point?

I'm gonna bet a 12 pack that a flash back is not your magic pill here. Tuning? Connections? Etc???

Okay, but it seems weird that if I replace the LL from BT with another line leveler from BT with the only other difference being the flash that it wouldn't be the flash, but I out of my depth here.
Something interesting happened this evening. I was on my way home with the stereo working fine (as fine as it gets this week) and stopped for gas. I started up and took off and only noticed a few seconds later that the HU didn't stat up, didn't get the harley screen, no sound, nothing. Just a little grayish back light. Got home 10 min later and turned everything off. Started up again and same thing. Waited about 2 minutes and tried again. Everything was back to normal.

Hadn't seen that one before.

Well that's kind of my point. It's going to take a disciplined process of elimination to nail this issue down. But do not take any one specific thing for granted. Trust me when I say that I have overlooked some really obvious screw ups or issues by assuming way too much about my connections or other very simple things.
It may very well be that your HU is jacked up but make damn sure this is the case by touching and verifying each and every component, cable, wire, connection on this Easter egg hunt from battery to HU functionality & settings to the speaker.
I'm betting u will find an easy fix. Worst case, the HU needs a makeover.

Cool, thanks. Going to go back into the fairing tomorrow.
I know this is an older thread but I am having the same issue with my 2016 Road Glide Special. After riding for awhile the left speaker starts cutting out. I pulled the speaker and unsoldered the speaker wire. I sent the speaker to BT before seeing this thread. I have written Donna at BT to ask her to send a line leveler with the return of my speaker if the speaker checks out. Did the line leveler and the reflash fix the OP's issue? I won't need a flash as I just have the two speakers and never did a flash to begin with. Thanks for any help.

I am using a BT355 line leveler. I did discover that the RCA plugs only insert about .158" into the RCA jack before hitting the plastic housing on the BT355. The jack itself is .258" deep. I squeezed the outside ground ring portion of the plugs tighter thinking maybe a loose plug may be my issue. I won't get my speaker back until sometime next week. I asked Donna at Biketronics to send me another BT355 if the speaker turns out to be okay.
