I do like pioneer but I think I would like to go with a marine grade speaker just to be safe since it would be getting rained on directly. Unless they are and I cant see it?

As G stated, Pioneer Pro. Weatherproof the face of the speaker with treated grill cloth and go storm chasing!!!

Also, put both amps in the fairing if possible. The JL280/4 is suitable for the Pioneers but a GZ Micro will do damn good with them.
