Hi all,
Just installed the 5X7 hogtunes in The front fairing of my 07 roadglide
And I also put The HT rear speaker pods on. I took The bike in and got the radio flashed for the fader. The fader will not fade out the rears. I tried switching the HT amp from 2ch to 4ch still nothing any ideas. I followed the directions to the T..
This is The new 160 watt amp it has a switch for 2&4ch.
I would sure like to be able to turn down the rears for when the wife is rideing.
Thanks.
first thing for me is how do you have your amp hooked from the stereo? just the 4 wires from the front two speakers? or did you tie into it somehow to factory back speakers?
Don't know how the inputs on your amp are wired. For the fader to work, you need to have front and rear outputs from the HK head unit to the amp's inputs.

I realize now that the fader will not work in my application.
I am just running my system off the front part of the HK radio.
Thanks you guys were all right.
Sorry.
It's pretty easy to access the rear speaker pin-outs of the HK radio, and connect them to your amp. It may be that PEZ has a plug and play harness for this application, or you can make your own as explained in this thread:
