3 years and never had an issue with that HU. I only use the Hawg Wired handlebar control units. There are many cheaper units, but their modules have never failed me. I also use a V-Twin Audio rain cover. I use the complete V-Twin HU mounting system. I know $160 seems like a lot. But if your going to buy their waterproof cover at $85, then $75 more for a chassis adapter/HU face plate fill/HU water shield/amp mount is a pretty good deal.

I have the Biketronics stuff on there now, but I noticed the other day that the radio mounting blocks are beginning to crack. And, I was never a fan of how the ABS looks against my newly painted inner fairing. Its time for a change
