audio upgrade
The wiring adapter can be built or maybe there is one out there already. I'd give the guys at:
Iron Cross Audio (201) 207-7157
No clue if they can help or not, but would be my first choice. Others may have already tried this and may chime in.
BUT How the HECK are you going to fit the 6.5 in the single DIN area? Maybe I'm missing something here?

You don't want to do that bro. More trouble than it's worth.
My suggestion would be to get a single din stereo to replace the OEM head unit.
1- it will be an easier install
2-you will have better control of the over all reproduction of sound out of the aftermarket head unit.
3 the 6.5 has a double din face and your bike has a single din
4 why try to reinvent the wheel when there are better options available at a fraction of the cost and not have to rewire anything in the form harness to make your tunes work.
If you have nothing but a lot of time on your hands and are pretty well versed in electronics
I would not try to install the 6.5.
I would rather spend a weekend on an install and be out riding with my new tunes then in the garage for weeks/months on end trying to get something to work that will not be worth all the trouble and headache
That's just me
