Default 2017 Road Glide Ultra Questions

Looking to upgrade the factory tunes, so far looks like I will need a BTBOC from biketronics. Looking at a Sounstream ST4.1200D amp.

So so the questions I have are will the amp fit in the shark and what speakers should I be looking at for drop in installation into both the nose and tour pack???

i tried for the life of me to search but I'm either blind or not searching the right terms, trying to do this on a budget of 500$ ish maybe a lil more if needed.

You will not need a Breakout harness unless you find it imperative to retain fader control on your head unit. You'll need a BT355 line leveler to flatten the signal which will take speaker level inputs and give you RCA output to your amp. That's as far as I read in your post; Breakout harness is an expensive luxury for something you'll never need or use.

That amp will fit. Just not sure it does rated power. The ST4.1000D was a lemon. You would be much better off with the Cerwin Vega B54 and the Infinity 62.11i speakers in all four holes. You will need a half inch spacer for the rear pods.

Thanks, I started jumping ahead a bit and ordered a set of MPX165.3 for the front stage. I will definitely look into the Vegas amp thanks for the reply!

If you have the Hertz already coming the B54 is a no go. Hertz are 4 ohm speakers. The B54 doesn't generate enough juice for those speakers. They need power. Your best bet now is to go with the Power Acoustik RZ4.2000D on a budget of $500 bucks.

So if anyone was curious all parts are now on order for this mild build.

Front stage: Hertz Mille Pro MPX165.3 $205
Rear stage: Alpine SPR-60 Coaxials $114
Amp: Power Acoustik RZ4-2000D $97
Interface: BTBOC $238
Amp Mount: $30

So I went a little over budget at a total of $684 but gives a price point for others.

Next step.... wait for the mail man grrrr.

Probably would have kept him at his budget too.
