Default Bluetooth helmet question

Does anyone know of a simple speaker/mic combo that connects to your phone via Bluetooth for a full face helmet that does NOT have an unsightly box on the exterior of the helmet? The only thing I want connected is my phone for music and navigation. I don't need intercom or any other communication.

That's a tough one... Ive been messing with trying to find something just like that, and its tough... Sena has a 10U unit that works in some specific helmets, but Im pretty sure they are discontinuing it...

Sena hasa 10R that is pretty low profile https://www.sena.com/product/10r/
I think the big problem is that a lot of this stuff is bluetooth receive only... not transmit too.

Take a look at the 10R and see if that might work for you, instead of having to re-invent the wheel.

Sena also has a built in model for Bilt helmets through Cycle Gear that arent huge, but still a module on the outside.

I am using this model now, after trashing the same helmet that I had the 20S model on it i installed myself.

I thought the same about having a module on the outside of my helmet but I went ahead and gave a SENA SMH 5 a try and now I don't mind it a bit.

I use it for the exact reasons you pointed out - music and GPS.

It is reasonably low profile but the advantage to being able to control the functions by having it on the outside is well worth it.

Now - if there is an internal Bluetooth headset that you can have volume and fast forward or repeat controls - I would be interested.

Sorry- didn't offer much help!
