Hey guys- I'm currently running 4 infinity 611's( 2 ohm) and a rz4-2000d.
volume is good --sound is a bit dirty at mid to high levels.. not clipping-just not clean.
and FM reception sucks..
so I want to upgrade..
first thought was 2 RF pbr300x2's
but-- is it really worth it to amplify the rears?
second thought is Rockford tm400.4 or ARC 600.4
want better cleaner power --AND FM reception--thanks
Arc any day over the Rockford. Emi is shielded from the Are but fm will be dependent still on antenna location. I wouldn't build my setup around fm reception, but if it is a must that is the direction to go.

well, what direction would you go?

I just said if you are dead set on fm go Arc. My personal opinion is for what you have, until you do some upgrades away from coaxial speakers, don't fix what isn't broke. Not a fan of the Power Acoustik amps but they work. In other words you will have WAY better sound quality from the Arc, but unless you have a 14+ bike, The hdp4 isn't emi shielded and is a mother trucker to fit. I can't see sigs on mobile so no clue what your bike is. I would also rum the Arc over the Hertz any day unless I really needed the 2 ohm power increase, which you currently do not.

Building your system around FM reception limits you options. We all use class D amps because they are the most efficient on a bike. There are only a handful of class D amps that allow you to keep your reception 100%. Just guessing here but I don't think Slye listens to the radio much. . . .lol
Odd that you're having reception problems on a Rushmore. The rushmore's do much better than the 13 and down bikes. The speakers have absolutely nothing to do with the reception issues. If you are getting bad radio reception now it's due to the amp. Shoot me a PM.
