Rear speakers cut all the way out after awhile.
Front Speakers - RF cuts out occasionally after awhile and then comes back on.
The AMP indicator light stays a steady green (I have it mounted where I can see it all the time, even while riding) No issues with the amp.
I pull the outer fairing and the rear speakers start working fine. This is the second time I have pulled the outer fairing off and it seemed to correct all issues. I found a wire that was rubbed through and corrected it. Worked fine for awhile and now the same issues again.
I assume I have a pinched or bare wire somewhere.
Anyone have any other suggestions? I have the fairing off now and messing around looking for anything unusual.
I'm so far from being an expert on this but it were me, I'd run all new speaker wire. Your not using the stock speaker wire to the rear are you? Also, maybe check the rca's. Maybe they're loose or shorting out. I wrapped tape around mine at the amp.
I went and reorganized the wires behind the fairing, trying to avoid any "crinks" anywhere. I also taped the RCA's connections together. I also found some wires that were starting to rub through and fixed those.
I went for a 40 mile ride and everything seems to be working. (For now...LOL)
