I don't seek out rain....lol
But ***** happens. Regardless was going to get a cover just prefer the bt as it looks removable and the scosche looked to stay in place and flip up. Unless I'm outta whack.
I have the the soundstream pn2.350d, kappas along with the Aquatic av HU. Great setup, I have no problem hearing at highway speeds. In fact I don’t think I’ve ever had it above 50% on the volume (level 20). Most of the time it’s between 10 and 14 while cruising.
Pingman,
that's exactly what I'd end up with if I switched to the aquatic.
I'm happy with both the amp and kappas.
Does your aquatic play off a usb stick? I know the color screen version does .not sure about the $300. Aquatic . I don't need Sirius and other options of the upper end unit but do want usb .

I have the model with Sirius, so not sure exactly what the difference in capabilities are between the two units. I havent tried using an USB stick, I mainly keep my iPod Nano inside the radio, and I also stream Pandora from my phone via Bluetooth.
Going to go with the Sony.
Wondering , have the SD 350 mounted on top of my hk head unit.
If I replace it with the B52 can I still mount it atop the Sony head unit?
And as far as retro mounting kits and handlebar control interface is metra a better choice than scosche or are the equal?
Thanks for the help.
