Yes that is correct ,on the .com sites.
However,
Crutch field.ca says 5 volts
Sony.com specs says 5 volts for the mex100 and mex70 but just says "no" under preamp voltage for 71.
Oddly crutch field.com list both the mex71 and 100 at 2 volts yet lists the 70 at 5.
I'm confused, was under the impression all the better marine units from sony, kenwood etc had higher preamp voltage. Which I wanted so I'm not driving my amp as hard.
Sony's mex71 was going to be my choice and was recommended by Alex earlier.
