Don't know if that's true, but I would guess not. A 6x9 speaker is a 6x9, not sure how theirs would be much different than any other. Either way I'm sure there is a way to seal them up pretty good
I was thinking the same thing 6x9 is 6x9 no matter how you look at it. A few buddies have the same lids but they are running HT 6x9's. But I will keep searching and reading. The Arc Audio 600.4 does it come with mounting bracket and do you know the diff between the Arc Audio 600.4 and the Arc Audio XDI?????
I've got the Hog tune lids with HAT 6X9 in them. Been caught in a few down pours over the summer and the bags stayed dry. I did put a bead of silicone around the speaker before I installed them.

Thanks Lastride. Never thought about the bead of silicone. Like i was thinking 6x9 is 6x9 may not be a snug fit but they should fit. Thanks
With the budget that is mentioned does that include purchasing speaker lids and color matching paint??
There are very small difference between the Arc XDI model and the Moto internally. They are basically the same with a different housing as the MOTO was designed for bike use.
you might look into the DD VO 6x9's, water treated and by all reports, have great lower end response. they are what i"m going to try with my HT lids. they might need horns to go with, but i'm not scared of that, the PA set up that i used up front worked out real well for me and If you are going to get the Focal amp I would recomend to you that you also look into the PA route, great sound great volume/clarity and there are marine treated options. just a bit more labor intensive with the install, but not hard. Mmats and Digital Designs PA stuff in water treated.

you nay want to check diamond audio micro 4 600 w amp.dd vo6.5 mid range drivers with dd b3 horns up front.for the rear dd vo6x9 in ht lids
That's a good set up but it is a little light in power for the DD VO 6X9S.
Forgot to mention
On the Rushmore bikes you will also need the Biketronics BT355 Lineleveler and I would recommend removing the fairing speaker pods and installing the Biketronics brackets.
On the 13 and down I would recommend replacing the stock head unit with either the Kenwood 765bt or a Sony mex 71 or possibly an aquatic
