better off buying the brackets and never have to mess with it again?
I’m in the process of putting together my system. Should have final parts in by next week. From the research I have done I decided to go with the brackets. But that’s just my $.02 and it’s not even worth that much, haha.
Edit- should have said I have Mille Pro 165.3 and a DD amp, quite possibly might end up with micro4.

Being waterproof, it's sealed. Can't make gain adjustments...or is that done in the head unit?
Hold on bro! You're getting bad info from somewhere. Let's pump the brakes for a moment and start over. Water proof and sealed has absolutely nothing to do with the gain settings. You're possibly getting that amp confused with the Biketronics 4180. Two entirely different animals.

No need for tweeters as the mpx are coaxial meaning tweets woofer in one. Once you get that installed, it should sound great! When its time to set the amp (high pass filter, gain, ect) the experts can help with that too.
