While I'm not very adept and dsp experienced as many here, I can surely vouch for the extreme variables between systems and sources.
Just the sound differences between audio files on a usb makes a huge difference. Then you factor in variables like fm or SiriusXm or Streaming, and the tune goes all over the board. I can make any one of those sources sound fairly well, all things considered. Usb although sounds the best. I think you would be hard pressed to get ALL of the available sources to sound equally as well.

It's like baking a cake brother. U have to identify and define all the ingredients before u start mixing shix up and baking the cake.

Can I make a sugestion. I'm sure your neighbors won't appreciate it but tune you system in the drive way not the garage. It will be somewhat closer to the driving enviorment as you won't have sound reflecting off the walls and ceiling which will change the sound.
