Thanks for the info. Looking at the design and specs it doesn't look like something I would want to tinker with. I can't read hippie measurements but it looks a little big.

looks like it has a fixed xover at 80hz. Am I reading that right? How useful is that?

We run these on a lot of builds and are now also sponsored by them --- great amps, but you NEED a DSP or active crossover system to run these amps. No way around it.

Would having the DSP eliminate the need a cross over that come with some component speakers ?

Active: meaning seperate run from the amp then the mid drivers.

Keep in mind the 800.4 have both 2ohm and 4ohm versions. So figure that out before buying.
