Default fairing bracket

Do I need to drill a hole in my new 602s to mount my fairing bracket? Seems like the only way to make it work. Pretty sure a hole in flange won't hurt anything, just wanna make sure. thanks

I would presume you have a 13 and down.
You dont have to drill any extra holes in the speaker for the fairing bracket.
You can rework the bracket to get the holes to line up at the original locations. Straight alittle here and reform a little there but they will work in the original locations.

I am a believer that if you want a Road Glide, buy a Road Glide. Maybe it could work a little better if you looked at selling or trading the SG Special and getting into a new Road Glide Standard? And for a few thousand more (and a few thousand less than a RGS still) you get most or all of what you want?
