Default Cheap RCA’s

Morning boys-

I am trying to trace a problem on a new 2018 my buddy has that I did a Arc Moto 600.4 and PRV 6.5’s/Horns in the fairing. Cutting out at high volume. Being a new bike I’m kinda ruling out a charging system issue. 8 ga. ground and power straight to the battery.

That Brings me to RCA signal. Has anyone had problems with cheap RCA cables that are off of Amazon? Curious if maybe this is our problem.

The Arc amp RCA fittings are poorly made and seam to be a issue with many. I just replaced the cheap RCA cables with some higher quality ones. I also put it into 2 channel input cause I couldn't get the second set out RCAs to make a good connecting.

I've had trouble with those cheap cables before on home and car stereo hook-ups
This is where I get mine now.

Priced right, and several levels of quality to choose from.

Thanks for the info guys.

What about the remote wire for the Arc 600.4 amp coming from the cigarette lighter wire? Has anyone had any problems doing this?

***UPDATE***

Changed RCA’s to Stinger 4000 Series, and ditched the Boss wiring kit to the battery. Installed 8 ga. wire off the spool at Oreillys for power and ground. Problem fixed.

BTW, I highly recommend NOT using the BOSS wiring kit. Wire was labeled 8 ga. but looks more like 10 or 12 ga. Kinda cheesy. That might not have been my problem but still a quality issue.
