Default CB Transmit Problem

Greetings...I recently changed out the battery on my '14 Limited, 19K miles. A little background, I replaced the handlebar switch packs about 2 years ago with lighted ones. I also have had the software update done that changed the CB PTT button and the Cruise Control button, the PPT button is now on the left side and the CC button is now on the right side. While changing the battery I had a problem with the alarm sounding so I pulled the main fuse. Put everything back together and everything seemed to work fine. While on a recent ride I noticed that I can not transmit with the CB. I can hear others fine but can't transmit. I also tried the phone and that worked fine so I know it's not the headset. I just went out and tried the old (non-lighted) switch pack thinking maybe the PTT Button on the lighted one wasn't working but that one didn't work either. I also tried pulling the main fuse but again no good. Any thoughts? Maybe the CB module itself? I'd like to try all the obvious things before I bring it into the dealer...thank you!

Did you try using a meter on the wires to the PTT switch? Check for switch operation and grounding, with wires disconnected from anything.

Thank you for your reply...I posted this same problem in the Rushmore section and after getting a few suggestions I narrowed it down to a software problem. I tried a system reset, that didn't work, replaced the questionable handlebar switchpack with the OEM one, that didn't work but after upgrading the Boom software to a later version (against my better judgement, LOL) everything now seems to be working. Both PTT buttons (front and rear) are now functional. Thanks again for your help...
