sound deadening material

have any of you that have put speakers in the bags use sound deadening material such as dynomat or equivalent also when you did your install? Is there any pros/cons in using it?

Tons of guys use it. It does work.

Adds some warmth to the sound and adds some temperature moderation under the hood.

A few years ago in here it was suggested in here to use polyfil batting so I did. I cut it to shape and wire tied it to the back side of the speaker frame. Worked like a charm. I've never used dynomat which may work even better.

My bags are fully done with the Herculiner truck bed lining. The stuff u use with the paint brush. I then lined the whole bag with noico sound deadener as well.
