Default Hidden/clean speakers fhlrxs

Hey guys. Did a *quick* 30-40 minute search last night. If this has been covered, pull the post and pm the threads please

Thinking about switching from in helmet speakers to on bike radio for my rks. Tired of charging and never like the idea of being tethered by headphones.

im not looking for a competition system. Just something to hear clearly enough at 75-80 mph for nav and some highway dancing. Not super interesting in adding a ton of stuff onto the bike. I do have the saddle bag guards in the back, and engine guard as a possible speaker mount. I have seen people hide amps on the side of the rear fender behind the bag so its still removable. Can that be done with integrated bluetooth? My phone is already on the bars and id prefer just using that instead of adding a controller. What are my speaker options besides lowers and lids? Anything a bit more inconspicuous and clean? Would just having a dealer throw 4 of the boom audio pods on the engine and saddle bag guard work?

thanks guys

I had the Boom Audio Handlebar Mount Speaker Pods system on a Heritage Softail I owned a few years back. I was amazed at how good the sound quality was for that system. You might want to look at it for your RKS. And the installation is pretty straightforward, there shouldn't be a need for you to pay your local dealership to install it for you.

word. That seems like the best option. I really dont want anything else on my forks but its definitely less intrusive than lowers and lids etc

would you suggest the standard 2 pod kit, or add the "extension" to make it 4?
