Hertz and Beyma both make a lot of different speakers...Lou you need to be more specific!
Well we could use the Beyma Gmnd or Hertz 165.1 with a set of st25. Powered by a SounDigital 800x4. Yes I know this is probably a bit over his budget but well worth the extra $100 to $200. Just do it right the first time. AGAIN my opinion.
I was being friendly. I appreciate the insight from a different perspective. I was merely pointing out that most folks here don't have a clue who Louie is.
But what the hell do I know.
I am nobody special. Just gave a couple opinions on what we use. I don't push anything on anybody. If you want the best sounding system we know how to get you there.

All this talk about my budget and never once did iention a budget. Thanks for your reply and you are correct I want to do it right this time
I'm gonna swear u posted up $1000 budget in one of ur posts.
Since u have no budget, rip all that shix out and get 2 amps. A JL 600/6 and another slim one that u can bridge and get 250 watts out of.
PA speaks in the fairing w horns, full range components in the TP and 8s in the bag lids, preferably Voodoo w 880s.
One and done.
T
nope never mentioned a budget.
I thought I had seen before that 8" lids didn't work with tour pack??
Do the 8" lids actually clear the stock tour pack?

Depends on the pack and the lids. I have 2 different packs and the both work perfect w Voodoo lids.
My dragons recliner king pack has oversized TP pods and the lids work w no issues.
Just have to provide specifics as u start to narrow ur focus and I'm sure folks will share their knowledge regarding lessons learned.
I looked at doing myself and this was the breakdown of costs of web.
amp $619
spkers $300
wire harnesses $150
mount $40
Flash $75
that is $1,085.
So I figured for $215 for an authorized dealer to install and if I have any issues he takes care of it was not that bad. So labor was $215 for 3 hours was not a bad deal.
