They're gonna ask if you have their harness for high level inputs. Listen to them. They'll get you pointed in right direction. Their website has a tech support phone number. Use it to your advantage. Bypass your tech who obviously doesn't know what he's doing. That setup is tailor made for each other and should be very simple to diagnose over the phone with them.
+1. Agree!

See, I love this place. I learn something new all the time. Arc never told me that back then, but then again I had the BT355 first.

There's actually 2 posters in this thread with the 600.4. One (OP) has a PSM the other doesn't and doesn't have the BT355 either.

Correct I (the 2nd poster) have neither the PSM or Line Leveler. The OP has the PSM. So which do I need the PSM or Line Leveler? Or neither?

When I installed a psm on mine I used speaker lines in. The radio cut out at half volume. Added a pac35 in front of the psm and problem solved. Arc claims some radios will cut out if they don’t see a load.

You're correct about the radio needing to see a load. The arc harness has resistors in it which creates the necessary load the radio needs to function.

I understand the resistors take care of the radio seeing a load, but do they flatten out the Boom Eq curve as well? Is that eq curve not as drastic as we once believed ?

Is that why arc says a LL is not required m
