Default Adding 2nd amp fuse/wiring question

I'm getting ready to redo/expand..system again..lol.. and had question.

Im adding 2nd amp in fairing. Im gonna need to run another set 8g power wires obviously. Do I run both amps 8g into a double fuse holder and then a single 8g wire to battery from fuse or should the wire from double fuse holder be 4 or 6g to battery. Didnt know if the jumper from fuse to battery should be bigger, then split to 8g.
or skip duel fuse holder and run 2 seperate power lines?

Also, is there a "best" twin fuse holder to use?

I have the Sony radio, JL280/4 and prvs here, just gathering pieces and planning so i can get it all done at once.
thx

Id run 4 gauge to the front. Single fuse holder by battery, and then a regular 8 gauge splitter in the fairing.

I'm interested in what y'all come up with. I'm thinking of adding a second amp to the saddlebag, first amp is in the fairing on 8 gauge wires.

This is pretty standard way of doing it.

Is there anything wrong with having a second fuse holder at the battery and running a second set of 8ga power & ground to the second amp?

No but a single 4 gauge is neater and same amount of work, and if you pull the second amp out later, you can leave the 4 G in place

That micro amp prob only needs 10awg.

Thanks guys.. appreciate the input. It does make sense to run to fairing then split. Thats what I'll do.

Ok..be patient..this may be remedial but havent found my questions searching forums. I want to do things the right/best way now that im adding 2nd amp in fairing.

Power/ground wire from battery to fairing
1. use 4g for ground as well? (I know 4g for power)
2. In line fuse. What size? I believe 1 amp is rated 35a and other is 40a. What size do I use and what is the preferred /best type of fuse?

In Fairing - Need distribution blocks - 4g to 8g
1. Do I use 2 seperate ones. 1 for power (one 4g to two 8g out) and another for ground? Or is there 1 larger one that has two in (pos/neg) and 4 out 8g to both amps?
2. Again, best one to use?

Thanks again.. I try to research my questions, but sometimes just cant find what I need.
