Vapor Barrier?
Getting ready to s/o my head unit, is this an important piece to the puzzle or can it be by-passed? We do see our fair share of rain here in the mid-west. If it is important, any ideas where I can purchase one locally?

Im getting ready to do mine. Not sure how important it is..but I figured i would use same material i use for speakers and have on top of my amp in fairing.
its breathable and water rolls off. Its a prefilter mesh. Not sure i want to wrap in plastic,etc.

This is what I did. You can buy a roll of Duck brand film for less than $5 at the hardware store. I cut a piece big enough to wrap the chassis of my radio top and sides. I left bottom and back open for air movement
