I'm playing with a DSR1 now on firmware 1.7.3.0, and the latest app, and it is a total mess. Keeps disconnecting all the time.
I will love to be able to use a laptop to set up this piece and ditch the Bluetooth completely
Other things I don't like about this unit; on a bandpass filter, the slope has to be the same on the low and high side, no signal meter for inputs and outputs, voltage input setup is part of the configuration wizard and can't be setup on the fly, etc.
Security is a major issue as well, anyone can connect to a unit and mess with the settings.
Anyone else having these issues?
I did have disconnect issue. I had to update the Bluetooth portion of the dsr1 as well as the firmware. May want to check and see if there is an update on it available. It's certainly not perfect. Can't decide if I want to stay the course or go back to the arc PSM
we all are, my rep told me to re-flash it again and since then i've not had the disconnect issues, but all the rest are the same. i hope that they come up with a plug in to have some sort of security encriptiion, so other folks cant cheat.
