Default 14 SGS Speaker/Amp Recommendation

I've been reading the various threads regarding speaker/amp setups for months now as I've been scrapping together the funds for an upgrade for my 2014 SGS with stock speakers and HU. My right speaker started crackling really bad back in mar/apr time frame so its been a tuneless summer. After rereading some threads, I'm currently feeling about as confused as I was in a swamp in GA up to my chest a couple years back at 0330 where I ended up a grid square west of where I thought I was. $$$ is always tight, so wanting to make sure I do it right the first time round, so I'm hoping for the expert advice from yall to set me straight.
$500 is the ballpark budget. Bottom line, I'm wanting to do an amp and speakers in the batwing, with the capability of adding lids in the future.
As far as amps, recommendations seem to be SS PN4 1000d, RZ4-2000d, or CV B52? Which is the better option?
For speakers - I want to be able to hear while running 80+ (typically southern rock or country...)
Other necessities to complete the DIY install? And I have basically zero experience with audio. Lots of learning coming up.

Thanks in advance!!

AATW!

There's a BT 2180 with line leveler in the classifieds for $175. Grab that and a set of arc moto 602s or hertz Mille 165.3 and you're done. Won't let you grow into 4 speakers later, but a solid fairing setup.

Or:
Hertz HCXs probably still available on Amazon within $180 shipped.
Can get Cerwin Vega B54 (4-ch) amp for $160.

With that budget I would grab the SS 4.1000 and some db motos or the Sony GS 6.5s and use two channels until you do lids.

Roadie13 - I'd seen that...my concern is being stuck with an amp that I'm having to replace when I add lids, or having to add a secondary amp.

Fullbore55 - Hertz HCXs over the MPX for the money? Looks like 170 for hcx vs 260 for mpx and 200 for the sony gs. Do the hcx have to be modded to fit?

marshallb - ss 1000.4 over the cv b54?

Thanks again for the help!

Personally yes SS over CV. I own a CV and it's great but if your on a budget get the SS and have room to grow.

So ss 1000.d. That's what I'd been thinking. Thanks for the thumbs up there. Guessing I need the line leveler with the stock HU?

Sierra, HCX a tad bigger than MPX. Either may require cutting into pod a little or using BT or similar adapter.

SBates, didn’t know CV B54 sucked for 4 ohm.
