Ok, mounting 8" speakers in the bags..... do you cut out the entire opening or just drill holes in a pattern? Pro's/Con's of each and what works for everyone?
A lot of people are happy with drilling the holes, I for one am not. I cut the whole, hole and make a grill. Not too hard, the modern bags are easy to cut, and making a nice grill that you can treat with waterprofing is the way I like it.

What are you using for grill material? I am going to put some material over it regardless of whether I cut the entire hole out or just drill. But I need to also throw some over my 6.5's and 6x9's. Just wondering if there is a cheaper method that's just as effective as Frog Skin as I already have some Camp Dry spray that I lightly treated the speakers themselves with sitting on the shelf in the garage.
SBates turned me on to this speaker/grill cloth from Speaker Works (might be Worx?) treat it with camp dry or the like, rout out speaker ring for on top of speaker, hot glue the cloth in place, treat it and install it in/over the hole in the bag. did it to my eights and my 10's.

I remember that thread now..... I know I should probably go with the 8MB600's, but I am just gonna end up going with the 8MB450's I think because of cost(me being cheap, lol).
