ok, that will give you a pretty good idea of what the new speaker you choose will sound like and is a good configuration to get your testing done. where were your crossover and gain settings at?

as i said before, the rockville sounds just ok. the matts pa 601.4 or the dd vo6.5 are great choices for that location, easy fit and weather treated and dont cost BIG bucks. yes more than the budget brands like Rockville and Sound Q, but......

As it was said before the soundqubed need to be crossed around 90 or so depending on how much power your ar throwing at them.

Also those speakers are new and need a little time to break in. The set I have in my fairing are starting to get a good sound to them.
Maybe swap the kappa and the soundqubed from upper to lower fairings with the kappas being a little louder speaker in the lowers it may sound better.

It all depends on what you are looking for in your system.
I have heard some DAM good systems with mismatched speakers. Depends on what frequencies you are wanting to play were and what section of your system to be louder than others.

Alot of mismatched speakers complament each other very well.
