Good news is the information on the forum is seemingly endless, bad new is the information on this forum is seemingly endless. So sifting through all the available options i am focused on two different amps, the stinger spx700x4 and the arc moto 602. The price differential is close to double so where should the emphasis of my system be , the amp or the speakers, I am guessing this is a simple question but I don’t know the answer.
any input would be greatly appreciated
Spent some time at a mobile audio store that does a lot of motorcycle installs and learned/was told the following
they recommended the RF tm400x4ad with hertz Mille pro 165 in fairing and Rf tms 65 for the TP
here my list at this point
RF tm400x4ad or the stinger spx700x4 amp
hertz mille pro 165 or arc moto 602 speakers for the fairing
rf tms 65 or Polk mm652 for the TP both seem to be drop in without spacers, although Im not limited by adding spacers in back if needed, not an issue with my wife
Btboc LL kit to keep fade option
so Im looking again for feed back, are there any compatibility issues or installation problems or better solutions in that price range?
By any chance do they sell the stinger amp? tm400? That may be the reason they suggested the tm400. Also if you have fade control on your HU now then you will need 2 LL. The tm400 is a good amp but the stinger is better, louder and less money in my opinion. I ran the tm400 for most of this year then put in the stinger and loved it. I just put in a SD1200 4 ohm evo and I may take it back out to put the stinger back in as the stinger is warmer to my ears but the sd doesn't have any road time on it yet so the verdict is still out.

For the sringe4 amp is the a mount tray required or do I just drill four holes and mount it directly?
The stinger will mount directly on the stock amp tray. Don't get me wrong as I do like the tm 400, just like the stinger better and it is cheaper. If you go with the tm400 you will be satisfied. I still got mine sitting on the shelf along with the RF mounting tray.
