I asked because my son can get a good deal on Kenwood and kicker 50% of MSRP. I saw that amp just made no sense to me, thanks for input. I am still tossing around putting speakers in my lower faring.. Just not sure I want to add another amp. I CAN do anything but how much work will it be? Is it worth it. I don't really use those pods for storage. My system now is pretty solid. But more is always better! LOL
Lowers will always help bring a system together IMO. Just have to decide whether or not it fits with the build you already have.
Jumping my own thread but. I am looking for a really small amp 2 channel with a small foot print. I would use that fro the rear and the one I have for the two front upper and lower faring speakers. There is so much out there. You have any suggestions? I want something other than the kappas for a little deeper sound. Kappas are great but bright. Thanks
Currently The front are Kappa 62.11 rear ,Kappa 62.XI .AMP is power acoustik ma4-3000d. HU Kenwood X998
Sounds like you have some good componets. I don't know what you're looking for sound wise, but I don't know if it gets a lot better without a major step investment wise.

That is what I'm thinking. I really have no issue installing new stuff. It's the off season so I have some time. Main issue is space and time. Space means were to mount second amp and I don't want to lose much space in tour pack. Smaller the footprint the better. Won't fit in faring, amp in there takes up all the spare space.Tight fit. Than I have to get speaker pods and select speakers blah blah. I was just viewing the pods as wasted space. And figured why not? Was hoping to get some bass out of the added speakers. But my current system is load and clear at 75 on the highway with room to spare. Thanks for the feedback.
