I am sure you guys on here know way more than me. But I can't see getting much of a clear loud system for $1000, even if you are only doing 4 speakers, by the time you buy a amp and dsp, don't leave out a good wiring harness. You might get loud, but not loud and clear. I would like to hear a list and prices. I would also like to know what kind of decibels the system yall are talking about producing? Don't you need about 85 decibels to hear it at 80 mph?

Just a suggestion to keep costs down, search the classifieds on this site. A good majority of the members fly through equipment as they search for the perfect sound and you can get quality equipment for a LOW price. I did it for my DD AW/AT set up as well as my Arc Moto 600.4 and saved hundreds of dollars. Being that it was my first dive into the audio scene, it made it easier to get involved. I have been running that setup and have added to it over the year and have been happy with my results.
