Default 2018 RGS help

I have a 2018 RGS with f story lower fairings added to it. I have just purchased 4 focal K2 6.5’s and a focal FXP4.800
1st question is do you guys think the FXP4.800 is enough or do I need to upgrade to the FDP4.800 amp.
2nd question is I hear a lot about the line levelers. Do I need this and is it the same as the PAC company line in converter that converts to RCA cables.
3rd question If a radio flash is needed on my infotainment system does anyone know for sure a shop in the Houston Texas area that can actually perform the flash. I saw a list on another forum and called the three shops they had listed to find out none of them could actually do the flash.

Thanks in advance for any help it’s greatly appreciated.

I would without question get the Focal FDP Sport amp. Big difference in Watts. The dudes at the greenspoint area audio outlet can get it for u if not in stock.

Yes u need a BT355 Line Leveler unless u get a DSP, or start tinkering with non HD flashes via a private shop. Powerhouse Customs more than likely will be able to assist w an aftermarket flash.

If u just want to keep it simple, HD will provide a "ultra" flash for u that is a zero amp 4 speaker flash and has proven to work very well. Conroe or The Woodlands will flash those in a few mins. Not sure about Mancuso. When u go to these shops DO NOT TELL THEM U ARE GOING AFTERMARKET. They have been instructed to **** block all aftermarket assistance thus they are on a need to know basis. Just tell them ur adding an HD King Pack and want the rear channels open for the fade.

U can also get away with not flashing it & using a BT355 but fade wont be active thus u just run it all from those inputs to the amp.

Lots of options.

And for that cash I think u can do better regarding speakers, not really knowing what K2 speakers u have. Biketronics might even have a Hertz ML 1650.3 kit that will get u hitting damn well in the fairing and some Hertz SVs in the lowers. Forum discounts if u ask them.

Thanks for the help Tailwind.

I have ave two sets of the EC165K2 6.5 Focal. One set for upper and one set for lowers.

I was looking through my bikes flashes and there are tons of them in there. It has CVO flashes and many others to choose from. It has a 00. 4 speaker flash for flht or flxt. I’m assuming that is 0 amps 4 speakers correct. Can I just select that flash and it will change or does it have to be done by the dealer.

I have the Focal FXP4.800 but it’s not gonna be enough so I’m going with the FDP Sport.

Thanks for all your help
Shane

The flash has to be done by a dealer or by an Indy or Audio shop with the correct tool.
