I need some basic audio advice. I've read several threads about this topic, as most beginners have. The system is currently stock. I bought the RF T14 Kit while on a pretty good sale, But havent installed. I'm not looking for competition sound, but a decent upgrade over stock. My plan is to either purchase the RF T69 rear kit or all new lids and 6x9s. I like the grill kit with RF over aftermarket lids.
I've read that I may come out with a better sound and cheaper price if I piece a system together......but do not know where to start.
I've also read that I may need a DSP, though RF is saying I do not if I have it flashed and stay with their system. I do not plan to do anything bigger than a 4 speaker system.
1) Opinions on the RF Tkit and Rear kit?
2) Options if I piece a 4 speaker system with amp?
3) DSP needed to fully unlock system?
4) If I stay with the RF Tkit, will the amp power the Hertz Mpx690 in the lids if I go that route?
Thanks for any input.
