To the OP, those speakers are fragile as I have blown 2 sets and their history just aint great. Time to upgrade......

Exactly!

What would you recommend? Looking for speakers with a warmer sound but don't want to spend over $ 200 if possible.

Hertz hcx are bullet proof for the most part and are a solid contender for a coax. You might want to up the field with a set of components as they will provide the next level of SQ in the fairing or look into pro audio with some horns for top level setup.

I had ARC Moto's, blew one around a year in with a Biketronics 2180 amp... Never really pushed them hard. Just got on the scooter and no sound on the left side... Put the Titan II 's back in...For now...
