Have a 2015 sgs in which I upgraded the speakers gradually.Fairing added prv's(forget model) plus tweeters..when I changed my bags I added prv 69mr500's under the lids.Amp is a JL audio 600x6. Sound is good but wanted to add some bass. recommended by indy a sub in each bag plus need to add dsp. Too much for me at this time so I'm asking if there is another option to get more bass to what I have. Or I'm stuck till I can afford the subs plus dsp.thanks

I was in the same boat as you wanting more bass with a similar setup so I'm in the process of adding 2 Ground Zero GZCK 250SPL running off a Diamond Audio HXM800.4 in the bags. And replacing my RF TM400x4AD in the fairing with rhe Arc Audio 600.4 to power my Audio Dynamics ADCS642 and Hertz MPX 690.3 in the lids. Almost forgot about the Sony 5000.

Brother, those 10s are gonna **** rape those MPX 690s. R u gonna try and get some form of air separation between the 2 different speakers?

Not true, the shop owner where my bike is has a similar setup on his bike and it is loud and clear with Hella BASS.
So what's the difference if you are running 2 eights or a 10 and horn?
The impact to ur audio ultimately depends on the specific speakers in play within the same enclosure. It's all about airspace requirements and I just don't know of many 10s that won't suffocate the hell out of a 6x9 within the same enclosure. 8s will also fight w each other under high workloads. Same w an 8 and a 6x9 within the same enclosure.
Just bringing it to ur attention brother. But it's not some shix I'm just making up. Airspace management is a pretty significant detail
