The BT crossover looks like a high pass for the tweeter only, the woofer is going to try reproducing everything. Any experience with the DD Audio CX02? Specs look like they'll fit next to the radio. A bit pricey but I hate to cripple the system because of a crossover. http://ddaudio.com/products/signal-p.../passive/cx02/
Can I ask why you are trying to make this more difficult than it is? Remove the box from the xover and seal it up, or slap some caps on the tweets and let 'em sing. 2 way xovers are not the only way to skin a cat.
I get what you're trying to do but you're going to be outdoors going highway speed with two tiny 6.5s.
You can get a ft of 3 inch heat shrink on Amazon for like $15.

Thanks...and sorry for so many questions. The MLK165.3's come with the MLCX165.3 crossover (5.74x4.49x1.57) which is much bigger than the MPCX2.3 crossover that comes with the MPK165.3's. Not saying the capacitor on the tweet isn't an option but a 2-way crossover would be nice. Sipping the kool-aide.....slowly.
I understand better now. These are the Legend models. The minuscule difference in part numbers makes it hard for my small brain to keep them straight.
Will they fit in the pod without the plastic box? The pods will end up with a hole in them anyway so volume shouldn't be an issue.
With all the guys being able to fit three good sized amps and full size DSPs surly to god there is room for two of these and a 600.4?
Look up the thread by stricnine I think he has pics with the hood off his.
Personally I wouldn't hesitate to run the tweets piggy back, with some parts express xovers, on the mids in 2 channel mode on that arc. I bet it would sing.

You think the Legends could handle the 600.4 bridged? That might be an option...I have the RF TMS69BL14 kit for the saddlebags but having second thoughts. Maybe I'll try two speakers this summer until I decide what to do in the back (thinking about component lids or one of AHB's component set-ups).
If I had it to do over I would not have cut my lids. I would just put 10s in the bags. Lids aren't getting me what I want to hear, mind you I started out saying I only wanted a good fairing set up. The only other thing I would consider is Voodoo 8.8 lids. The JL 8.8s are supposed to be the riders delight! I'll decide what next winter holds after the M&G.
