Gents, 2016 Road Glide Ultra. I just ordered 2 sets of MMats PA601cx speakers and a MD4110 amp. Looking into options for getting this hooked up. I know about the BT LL and used one for my wifes 2 speaker setup in her SGS but I dont know about the American Hard Bag harness. Prices a some what similar AHB come in s few bucks cheaper but once you take off the forum discount you get pretty close.
What at is the pros and cons of each? Is there something else I should be considering? I know someone is going to tell me to go for a DSP but Im not sure I am ready for that much tuning responsibility.
I can tell you without a doubt i was in your situation a year ago. with the 1. same bike except it was a limited 2. same amp 3. same speakers. so if i had to do it again. I would scrap all that LL harness stuff and go with the aftermarket head unit. Sony 5000... I spent like 300 to 400 and some change for all that harness stuff for the ultra due to us having rear speakers etc. you can buy the sony with plug and play harness delivered to your door for $450... I sold my stock HU and made my money back.. maybe Ive said too much... but i wish someone would have told me this last year.. it would have saved me about $1000...just my 2cent... now if you are still going to go the stock HU route both kits do the same thing..just depends on price...I think the BT is cheaper...and you wont have to flash your HU..

Bdrummee, thanks for the reply. That give me something to think about.
You will still need to get Head Unit Flashed...only if you use BT Amp with their LL to bypass flash but you have mmats amp...just wanted to make that clear brotha!!..

i was under the impression that I would not have to do the flash at all if using the LLs. I used one on my wife’s SGS with no flash and it sounds great. Also I have the RGU so I already have the flash that everyone suggests to get (4 speakers no amp).
