BT4250
BT7P1 Pro (Fairing)
Mille legend (rear pod)

Thanks again! Great info.

Decided to get the Hertz simply because of availability and very good luck with Hertz in general.
Big Red.. are you doing any lowers with those hogtune adapters..?

I’m curious why you don’t have the Mille legend in the fairing?

I am planning to use the hog tunes adapters for the liquid cooled bikes.

The mille legend is only a woofer not a coax or component set up. That said if the aperiodic rings from biketronics don’t drastically change the sound of the BT7P14 Pro they will be coming out and something else will go in. Probably try the dB Moto g2. Cost isn’t really a consideration but I don’t want to cut holes in the fairing either.

You can grill mount tweeters for those legends in the fairing. I only asked because that seems like the warmest speaker in the mix and you have it in a location where you retain the least amount of warmth.

I would definitely do that. I guess I’m not sure how to go about it? cannibalize one of my boom stage 1’s?? I would put Mille Legends on the entire bike if I knew how the get them to fit. Also I kind of went with what was suggested by biketronics. Having a bit of regret now. Problem is you don’t know if your ears like it before you hear it. I live in a small city and nobody really has anything. I needed to walk the tech at the dealership through flashing bike back to stock config.

Found a nice price on some Hertz MPX 165.3 Pro's for the lowers. How do these compare to the HCX's ? The local hertz store only had the CPX 165's in stock to sample. WDX G2's in fairing/BT4180 amp.

HCX is the high energy. They can handle a bit more power.

I think they're both rated the same, power wise. The Mille's are also rated at 100w/200w. Not sure, but I think the Mille's also have a more water resistant woofer composition. I like the idea of the recessed tweeter. Hmmmm....

I see American Hard Bag makes a tweeter grill kit for 14+ for the hertz Mille pro component. And one for up to 13 to fit SV 165 and ST compression tweeter. So if these BT pro in the fairing don’t cut it some Mille legends will go in. Still not sure the best way to integrate the lowers into my current set up?
