Default Dd vo-6.5m??

Anyone running the DD VO-6.5M? What location? And your thoughts?
I see a lot of folks running the AW6.5 but not really the VO.

Yup. 2 in the fairing (with B3 horns) and 2 in the tourpak. They're great. Made even better when my guy put 2 DD drivers in the lowers. It rocks. 2016 Limited Ultra.

I have the newer NDY versions in my lowers right now. To my ears they sound very similar to the MMATS PA601's but are slightly louder, have little more thump, and play higher up the frequency scale. They are spec'd at 100-8kHz but I have played them as low as 80hz with well over 100 watts going to them. I find that they start to break up and get harsh on the high end around 6kHZ. I have never heard the original iron magnet version though and they are spec'd way different in terms of frequency range and SPL.

I am running 4 VO 6.5 ...lowers and TP pods! I like them, they are loud and have a wider frequency range then most PA 6.5 speakers... 70-1300K! DD calls them voice optimized and out on the road in that noisy environment the vocals come thru loud and clear!
