I went ahead and ordered a set. I'm still doubtful that I can hear them at speed, but at least I can get a little low end around town. I have an extra set of horns laying around. I can't decide if I should cut the hole and put them in. It would be 2 front horns at 100 watts each or 4 horns at 50 watts each (2 front/2 lid).
I'm waiting on my lowers but they will be SV165. My concern was a post that I think Juice made a few weeks back. He said with his 10s pushing 500 watts each he could hear them up to 40 mph. If I can get good volume, I may go with the Hertz or GZ Yellows. If not, I may just put a couple of 8" subs in them.

That may change my speaker options then. I love my 6x9 DDVOs, but I can't hear them at speed. How much more volume do you think I'll get from 8s? It will use the same amp 200 @4ohms B52.
