To toss a pro audio type speaker in the fairing w the Boom HU, u just don't have the tuning resources to go there. So full range component setup in the fairing crossed at about 80-90 will do well. U just need to get metal mesh grills and a hole saw drill bit to mount the tweeter and off u go
A sleeper component set on a huge bang for the buck scale is the Rockville component stuff. Great presence with good SQ and under $100 a set. I have also ran the Euphoria stuff and like it as well. The other end of that spectrum is the Hertz 1650. Very very nice component setup but not cheap.

Now if this was a shark nose I would prob toss the WDX 6 Motos Gen 2 in the fairing and the Mmats 601cx in the lowers and call it a day.

Very helpful

Thanks OP for allowing us to briefly hijack the thread. We will now return to your regular scheduled programming.

Ok. I feel I gave the OP time to take back his thread but its been radio silence so I am going to ask an additional question. My apologies OP! (Edit: Now that I looked at it a little closer, I didn't really give the OP much time. Come to Ohio OP and I will buy you a drink!)

Tailwind, thanks for always being so helpful. I have read many of your posts and like most of the others on here you always maintain a very professional and respectful tone in your replies. Appreciate that.

Originally I was thinking to just go with 4 PA601.CX in the fairings and lowers however, I am very interested in a full range component setup in the fairing as you described. Component setups were my favorite in the car audio world back in the day.

I looked up the Hertz 1650.3 and "insert big eye emoji here" had a little bit of sticker shock. I looked up Rockville but ran across some negative reviews in general for that company.

Do you have a recommendation somewhere in the middle between these vastly different components (Hertz and Rockville) that would compliment a set of PA601.CX in the lowers?

Thanks again for offering your opinions.

That's a tuff one brother as there are soooo many options and I really depends on your personal situation aka genres, riding style, budget and the amp ur gonna use.

I have recently has good luck with the Euphoria line. They have a few component setup with damn good full range presence and SQ and think the pricing is right there in the middle tier.

Have a peek at those suckers but so many options thus take ur time and get ears on what u purchase.
