I have a 15 ultra limited with the rockford tm400x4ad ,tms65 in the fairing and rockford 6x9 bag lid kit and boom 6.5gt hu . I would like to upgrade the fairing speakers to somethin that is warmer an maybe more vocals rite now they are to brite was lookin to see what i could replace them with an use same amp ? That would be an upgrade ! Thanks for all help an replies
The new mats 601cx sound good and are not too harsh by any means. You can get a set of them for around $180 shipped. Im not sure if they will drop into the speaker pods without some modifications though.

Ok thanks im prob gonna try them i was warned by everyone here against the tms 65 an there not bad just alittle harsh but my wife gave them as an anniversary gift so i had to try them i had the amp then she bought the baglid speakers an fairing speaks thanks for the info .

Don't know about the speakers, but the wife is definitely a keeper, lol. Her heart is in the right place, and she just wants her man to enjoy his music. Maybe you should reward her riding experience with a nice set of 8" speaker lids and some Mmats 801.cx to go with those 601.cx in the fairing.
