Make sure you treat those mmats to some water repellent. Scotch gaurd and the like. I had the 8" mmats in my lids and bags they aren't bad but they left me wanting more. They definitely hold up to abuse.

you spray that right on the speaker or on a speaker cloth covering the speaker ?
I bought some treated Mmats from GarageBagger Stereo a while back and have ridden through downpours without any problems.
I would think in the fairing they would be less likely to get wet than in the lowers where mine are.
Also I wonder what effect spraying sealants on tweeters in coaxial speakers would have on their sound. I've never tried it so I can't say but that's a thought that came to mind.
