Best and worse part of all this is I had to end up ordering the v twin pod adapters so now I know the rear speaker options just opened up, I honestly think I’m gonna be happy for awhile once it’s all buttoned up but it ll be in the back of my mind that the mmats will fit now

Give those PRV some time to break in and they will get even better. If your ears like them
give them a chance.

Make sure you treat those mmats to some water repellent. Scotch gaurd and the like. I had the 8" mmats in my lids and bags they aren't bad but they left me wanting more. They definitely hold up to abuse.

if you bought the Mmats speakers with the factory weather treatment, as i send them out, no additional steps or protection is required.

I bought some treated Mmats from GarageBagger Stereo a while back and have ridden through downpours without any problems.

I would think in the fairing they would be less likely to get wet than in the lowers where mine are.

Also I wonder what effect spraying sealants on tweeters in coaxial speakers would have on their sound. I've never tried it so I can't say but that's a thought that came to mind.
