You'll have no way of flattening the bass boost the stock head unit has. That basically means amplified distortion. You really should grab one

I've heard of several people running the new Rockford flash with no BT LL and only using coax speakers.

I'm with OutKast. Get the BT355 or a DSP.

The huge prob with this transition into this world of very welcomed advanced sled audio is that many folks are showing up going right into the deep end and missing all of the basic elements of swimming.
Take ur time fellas. If u miss a few of the big details along the way, ur actually gonna be better off with the Boom. A really nice upgrade installed in a shixxy manner is really shixxy.

Details matter.

After Bob got done with that Ultra in the bar parking lot in ES is probably the best I've heard BT LLs sound. So I would say ultra flash must help a lot. Stock SG flash is just not great in any form I've experienced yet. The new RF flash on the bikes I've heard, albeit not a ton of bikes, has sounded pretty close to tweaked BTs and an ultra flash.
