It was thankfully brought to my attention by another member that my comments were perhaps harsh or condescending. That was not my intent. But reading them they do come off that way. That is not what this forum is about.
I do apologize and good luck with your build.

Now that's funny....I was going to comment to leave harsh and condescending to me and SBates. Lol
Don't be wishy-washy! BE a condescending ***** and be proud!
For the record, I'm leaving just the passing lights on my one added circuit. I'll add another circuit directly to the battery when the time comes to add the amp. Also, as I have my passing lights on a relay, I've moved the relay power feed from the light circuit to the accessory circuit (formerly the Cigarette lighter). So, for now, all is safe and functional, no concerns with any 'noise' or can-bus interference.
PS, my nice new motorcycle got it's first dose of riding in the rain today! I'm still trying to log 'break-in' miles, and today I rode about 65 miles west of where I live to a town called Frederick, Maryland, and I stopped in to the Frederick HD dealership. Spent all of about 30 minutes inside, and when I exited the place, it was raining. Went from bad to worse over the 65 mile trip back home, and at one point it was quite the deluge! And, me without any form of rain gear! Of course, weather prediction said clear sky until later in the PM......and of course, it worked out just the opposite. Rained from late am untl about 1:30, then cleared up for the rest of the day and evening. Damn weather people! And this from MSN's weather service!! Ha!
Anyway, neither me nor the bike 'melted'......but it sure made a damn mess out of my nice clean and shinny new toy!! Dammit!!
