Hi....I'm one of those old guys that still listens to FM celestial radio. I like to catch news, weather, traffic an sports talk an games sometimes while riding. I have a few hundred songs on a flash drive I use an I'll add more this winder when I'm stuck inside. Anyway, I replaces a CV B52 that was cutting out with a VADM2 NVX an the NVX interferes with FM reception, I didn't have a problem with the CV amp. I ordered some RF shielding mats an shielding copper tape. I put the pads on the amp tray, turned the FM on an not much of a change. I put the tape over the mat an over the radio that extends beyond the amp tray an it got a little better. I wrapped the power wire to the amp an that helped too. 4 of the stations I tried after this were mostly clear. I might try wrapping the ground wire an maybe adding some ferrite cores. Just sharing my results. I did read a thread where someone ran the power an ground wires through the ferrite cores an wrapped them a few times but I thought I'd try this.

First I have heard that the nvx causing fm reception problems. I have a nvx in my cubby hole and a sony hu still get fm with mine. I have a sony hu with a stinger and nvx in the fairing and still get fm ok. Mind you that I will loose fm on the outskirts of their area quicker but in town it is still working. FM is a funny thing as Stations use different signal strengths during the day vs. night signal. Reception area varies in different places if a station has a stronger signal close to their frequency range and so on. Here in Indy there is a station at 94.7 and another at 95.5. I will loose the 94.7 if the 95.5 is closer to me or vice versa until after 8 pm when they turn down the broadcast signal. Go figure.
That sux I have a NVX on my bench waiting on a couple of items before I install. I have a stinger and no issues here, For the most part I thought the 14 and ups didnt have issues,
I put my amp in the tourpak and lost all FM. Went to Amazon and bought RF cloth and lined the tourpak so the RF does not get to the antenna wire under and it improved the FM signal by at least 70-80%. Didn't want to wrap the amp as I am worried about cooling so this will do.
